Stawell rockdriller, David Butler has won his tenth Australian singles rockdrilling title and reached a major milestone in doing so.
Butler claimed the Australian title at the 2008 Cairns Show, which made it his 100th singles title overall.
Defeating his long time friend and drilling partner, Chris Fellows in the grand final, Butler also won the title of overall Cairns Show Champion.
Butler and Fellows then teamed up to win the Australian doubles title and also the Australian no-pusher title.
The pair then joined forces with Smiley Wharton and Ray Nichols to win the Australian four man team title.
This year at the Stawell Show, Butler will be aiming for his 15th Victorian rockdrilling title in a row and in Rosebery, Tasmania in late December, he will be vying for his seventh Tasmanian singles rockdrilling title.
Last year at Rosebery, Fellows defeated Butler by a split second in the grand final, turning the tide on Butler for a change.
