Peter Tonkin trained up and comer Radical Assassin fired to win the James McLeod Memorial Pace Final at Laidlaw Park on Monday.
The lightly raced three year-old registered win number four from six starts with his second straight victory over Terry Croton trained Ombre Rose.
His previous win was in heat two of the series at Terang.
The victory also gave Daryl Douglas his second winning drive of the afternoon, taking him closer to the Australiasian record for most winning drives in a season.
Tonkin also secured a double with Takeabow winning the opening event of the day.

The three year-old finished second in the heat at Terang but raced home along the sprint lane to score her maiden victory over Duke Of Dura and Marnie Bibby trained Creating A Scene.
- Michelle Manning trained and drove Bete Noire to a strong win in the Carey Covers Trotters Handicap, making it a training double after scoring with Gloria Lombo in the Westside Carpet Choice C4-C5 Pace.
- Daryl Douglas failed to pass Kerryn Manning's Australasian driving record of winners in a season, but was equal prior to yesterday's meetings at Kilmore and Bendigo.
